We are a parent and toddler group with a difference. At the Buttercup Club your child can learn, develop and have fun through messy play (saving the cost incurred in redecorating your house) as we are there to clean up.
We are a fantastic introduction to Playgroup.
Please note that parents/carers must stay with their child throughout the session.
We have been established since 2003.
The session runs for 70 minutes. This involves 40 minutes of messy play where your child can enjoy any of the activities listed below:
- Sand play
- Painting
- Ink stamps
- Stencils, crayons
- Cutting out and glueing
- Play dough
- Jigsaw puzzles, fuzzy felts, chalk boards
- Dolls heads with makeup
- Water play
- Pasta play
- Cornflour play
- Cereal play
- Different crafts every week
- Jelly play
- Dressing up
- Books
- Soft play area for little ones
We provide aprons for the children, however it is advisable that both carer and child do not wear their best clothes.
After 40 minutes of messy play refreshments are provided for parents/carers and children.
We then have 15/20 minutes of Parachute time, bubbles, array of nursery rhymes and songs with musical instruments, plus Birthday time and the Hokey Cokey.
We have full Public Liability Insurance for you and your child's safety.
We use a photographer twice yearly called Dream Catcher Photography.
