Iv’e been coming to the Buttercup Club for two and a half years, firstly with my son, and now with his little sister! Enjoy watching your children experience all the messy play ( stuff you don’t want to do at home!), then have a lovely cuppa/ juice and biscuit. all followed by singing, dancing and catching bubbles!!
Excellent value for over an hour of fun. Best toddler group Iv’e been to by far!
I started coming to the Buttercup Club in April 2007 with my eldest daughter, Zara (aged 16 months at the time). I did not have many friends with toddlers, and so it was an invaluable place for me to meet other mums. Two and a half years later I’m still going there, now with my younger daughter Isabella (Zara still loves to come in the school holidays). Both my daughters enjoy all of the activites – Isabella loves the water play area and Zara loves arts & crafts to take home eg animal masks, caterpillars, bonfire pictures, calenders etc.
Zara has her 3rd birthday held at the Buttercup Club which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Sharon and Sue (the organisers) helped decorate the hall and entertained the children with many activities and song time.
See you there for tea and biscuits!!!
PS. Iv’e also had some amazing photographs taken as a professional photographer visits the club twice a year.
This toddler group is wonderful, so many things to try and get messy with! Every week there seems to be something different, so its always exciting! The staff are enthusiastic making songtime fun! My son loves the parachute and gets very excited when the musical instruments come out! Would strongly recommend it!
I Started attending the toddler group in 2005 with my daughter. She loved the messy play and singing. We have made some lifetime friends there. Well worth a visit.
A friendly and welcoming group, no gaggles of mum’s gossiping the corner. Lot of great and some very messy activities, which you can enjoy but do not have to clean up after! Also singing and fun with the parachute, as well as my son’s favourite the Hokey Cokey.
As a mum of 2, both children are and have been members of The Buttercup Club, the members of staff are extremely welcoming, friendly, approachable and instantly make you feel comfortable. This was a major factor for me when I first started with my eldest child, (he was aged 1 at the time) as I was new to the area and did not know anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him and taking part in the different activities available. I also found he liked some activities better than others which gave me great ideas for christmas and birthdays. It didn’t take long before I got talking to other parents and i found myself giving and receiving advice on lots of different subjects, which helped my confidence as a first time mum. My eldest is now at pre-school and I feel the activities at The Buttercup Club have played a major part in his social development, as he loves playing with other children and has settled and made friends quickly. My youngest is 18 months and she loves The Buttercup Club especially painting and doing all the actions to the songs, and playing with the instruments at song time which we have continued at home. Overall The Buttercup Club is a great place for parents and their children and is great value for money.
